clomid doses?

Just a hypothetical question....What is likely to be the outcome if i take 100mg of clomid a day instead of the prescribed 50mg?

never mess with prescribed doses, you never know what the outcome may be. swollen ovaries doesnt sound nice at all

thanks red... I thought it wouldn't be a good idea but we've been trying for 3 years now and are getting desperate!!! X
Have you taken Clomid before? I am on it at the minute, at 50g but I was told that if not sucessfull the dose may well be upped so you might find you go up to the next dose in the future anyway. Best not to mess with tablet dosages really without the docs say so.
It will happen eventually, I to have been trying, not as long as you but for a year, just dont give up, we will get there!
Hiya. I wouldn't up the dose unless the doc tells you as it needs to be monitored. My doc also said that if 50mg was unsuccessful that the dose would be upped anyway, so just wait and see. 50mg worked 1st time for me so good luck to you. I know how frustrating it is.

Nope! No news yet, Im due to go back to the hospital at the end of August, so see what happens then, still havnt had any results of blood tests, or partners little swimmers test, lol, I rang to ask for them and they said that it will all be talked about at my next consultation!!
So just have to keep plodding on for the min :-(
