And when it left us last night, Torchwood were in the sights of the Dalek's sink-plungers! Does that mean there are to be no more series of Torchwood? Was the idea to kill off two of them at the end of the series, the other two at the end of Dr Who and send the indestructable Captain Jack off into - well wherever?

Torchwood is going to broadcast on BBC1 next year as a five episode series played in a single week, so highly unlikely they'll die.

There was so much hype about Billy Piper returning but unless there is a miraculous recovery the doctor is dying and going to regenerate into a new one!!!

Not much has been said about that though...
