I've found loads of other versions, with no luck!

Hiya, I've not seen the film but the best version of Pistol Packin Mama, I think, is by Gene Vincent. Could that be the one?

Thanks all, but for some reason the track in question does not appear on the actual soundtrack. It is definitely not Gene Vincent, the one I'm after is more rock 'n' roll (for want of a better phrase) this one is proving difficult to find!!! I can�t even seem to find it on the film credits?

Maggie... it's the version by The Hurricanes. :]
Check the wikipedia page for Cry-Baby, I updated it yesterday with all the tracks that do not appear in the soundtrack.
