what should i do with this thing??

someone posted an MP3 player through our door the other day, brand new, still in the box. not addressed to anyone, and no note. what should i do with it? should i report it to the police? i know it sounds over the top, but i dont want to keep something that isnt mine!

Hang on to it for a week or so, hopefully someone will coming chapping at the door with a red face having realised they got the wrong address.

If nobody turns up, hand it in to the police. If nobody claims it after a period of time, I think it's 6 months, then you can go and pick it up and it's all yours :)
