Is it just me or is there an increase in the number of urban foxes?

Last night I had, what can only be described as a pack of hoodie teenage foxes in my front garden, playing havoc, making lots of noise. I would say there were about five or six of them.

One was peeing up against the cherry tree and then proceeded to drag it's arse along our newly laid turf, whilst another sounded like it was trying to remove the wing of one of the cars. There was another jumping up and down on the boot of the car and yet another playing with a carton, it had found under the van.

There was so much noise, I banged on the window, but they just all looked at me and proceeded to have their teenage fun. In the end, I had to go outside and throw a bowl of water in their direction, which made them scarper.

I grew up in the country and used to see all kinds of wildlife including badgers and hedgehogs which my parents put food out for.

I miss it living in the city, closest I tend to get is rats running around by the hotel across the road.
