Good afternoon one and all.

Are any of you familiar with the type of application form used by Tesco? There is a "More about you" section. Example 1
.... I am the sort of person who...

a) aims to please other people L M
b) plans my own time L M
c) is able to solve problems L M
d) motivates others to reach team goals L M

example 2
a) shares knowledge with others L M
b) is effective in leading others L M
c) understands hiow my own work has
an effect on profits L M
d) absorbs relevant facts quickly L M

You have to circle the least often/most often. There are 16 of these questions. I would like to think that I am good at all of the choices in some of the questions. Many of the questions pose a similar dilemma. What are Tesco looking at, or should I say for, when they pose these sort of questions. I'm unfamiliar with recent interview techniques etc as I was employed for more than 17 years in my last post. Thanks in advance.

I work for a car dealership and they have something similar, basically it's a way of them finding out your personality.

Hi missspeedy, I sort of guessed as much - so if you say that you're good at leadership, are they going to assume that you won't want a shelf filling job (which is basically all I want).
