Is there any devices with a line in jack (dvd, video)? I want to plug my mp3 player into it so i can play it through it?

Most soundcards have a line in nowadays.

Maplin have a large number of adaptors which will help you connect almost anything to almost anything.

A normal domectic hifi should have a line in (often marked Aux or Video), with the right lead you should be able to connect your mp3 player into it.
