endowment miss sell?

has anybody who has been "miss sold " an endowment mortgage been compensated for the shortfall of money they roughly expected to get?

Thousands of people have been compensated, many who had claimed just to see what would happen. Its worth a try as most insurance companies don't fight to hard at the moment. Plenty of people have claimed when they really had no reason to as the documentation left with them stated no guarantees. But its funny how people forget when there is a few quid available. 

You don't usually get the "whole "lot. Endowment lenders usually put you back on track as if you had taken a re-payment mortgage out at the beginning of the term, well, thats what they done with us, and I was told that this was the "usual" outcome of a miss-sold policy claim !!
