After moving house we our cat has gone missing. What is be best method of advertising this fact. I have searched on Google and came across the National Pet Register. Is this a bona fide organisation?

We will be putting up our own posters locally and contacting local vets & animal shelters.

I'm not sure about the NPR, but have you gone back to your last home and checked there?

I have contacted our previous neighbours to keep an eye open.
NPR only works if your pet was micro-chipped.
I'd reommend notices on lamp-posts etc.
How long ha she been missing? My cat disappeared for 36 hours when I moved, but he then came back. I made sure I had a window open for him to come through.

Thanks for your advice. I have posted details and a photo to the local branch.
You could also contact local vet practices to see if anyone has brought poor puss in recently.
