what do i do with a dove thats too young to fly but has fallen out of its nest ???
tried contacting the R.S.P.C.A. but their advide is to leave it where it is and wait for the parents to feed it.

simple as this. leave it where it is and it will be dead by morning, or catch the little thing and try to feed it and keep it warm.
id guess its only a week away from being able to fly.

dont tell me this should be in "Animals and nature" because i want as many answers as i can before dark !!!!

well i would suggest leaving it there. Although it seems off to us as humans, wild birds are not domesticated, and usually do not survive with human intervention like this. the parents wont have anything to do with it once you have interfered, it has aleady suffered a traumatic fall and is unlikely to survive anyway. this is nature, and it's what happens. The RSPCA are right
I dont suppose you can see the nest and able to pop it back in?

Though you'll mean well, taking it inside will more than likely kill it anyway due to shock.

The best bet honestly, is to leave it where it is- maybe move to under a nearby hedge?
