buying locally on ebay

I've tried ebays help people and they're as much use as a chocolate fireguard. Can you explain in idiots terms how I limit an item I want to buy to within 25 miles from where I live...I've tried advanced search but the results always revert to the default 200 miles distance.

You must change the purchase option to UK only and then tick the mileage option you want. I found that you have to change it, tick it and then change it again!! Hopefully that will work for you.

Do your search first (don't worry about advanced search) then once you have the results there should be a drop down menu at the top of the list
Choose nearest first

When you have completed your search, on the top right of the list is "sort by" the first one is "best match" but you can also choose nearest and this should help you.
