I'm going to be staying near Manchester in a couple of weeks time and would like to find a jazz club - any recommendations?

I would recommend Matt and Phreds Jazz Club, its a great little place. Other pubs, restaurants and other venues may well hold a 'jazz night' but Matt and Phreds is a dedicated, 7 days a week jazz club. Its in the "Northern Quarter" close to the city centre and well worth a visit.
