There was an hilarious short film made about the song '12 Days of Christmas' with all the 12, 11, 10, 9 etc. presents being delivered to the true love's house.  I think it might have been French and it might have been in black and white.   It ended up with the French Hens fighting with with the Calling Birds etc. etc.   and the true love being absolutely distraught and no knowing what to do with all these things being delivered.  Any ideas anyone what it was called and can I get hold of it?

I reckon this was a video for 'Christmas Countdown', a single made in the 80s by Irish comic Frank Kelly (later to play Father Jack Hackett in 'Father Ted') - the scenario was exactly as you describe. Don't know about the video but you can get the track on Frank Kelly's CD of the same name from irishmusicmail.com
Don't know of the film myself, but loved the song when I heard it on the radio a few years ago. Have just ordered a copy of the cd from Irish music mail. Thanks brokly.
I too liked this song and found out it was by Frank Kelly and its called the 12 days of Christmas. (I've been told its available on Amazon) Merry Christmas !
