for some unkonwen reason windows media player 10 has started to crash when ii try to watch dvd's and an nvidia logo appears in the system tray. this would be fine except i have a ati graphics card. can anyone tell me either what the nvidia codec is called so i can remove it (how??) or how to tell WMP to use a different codec i have tried using the advanced option on the tools=> options=> DVD tab but it doesn't work. HELP PLEASE. Thanks in advance

For WMP to play dvds, you need DVD decoding software. Nvidia do make a plug in for WMP10 to allow this. The fact that you have an ATI card has nothing to do with this. When the Nvidia logo does appear, right click on it and look for some sort of option menu for something amiss. Good luck.
