in regards to the story about the london bus that killed the predestrian...
have you ever been in a situation where you would have been in the wrong place had something not happened?

i have lots of stories where i have avoided being in the wrong place etc. and at the time i think: gee, that was lucky i left my phone at home or whatever made me that bit later... but i believe in destiny and that everything happens for a reason

was wondering what everyone else thought

I've had a few.

Leaving a bus shelter right before it was petrol bombed in a riot.

Being tired and deciding to go to mine, which was closer, with an ex when that night his whole building was destroyed by a serious fire.

When the bus exploded and I found out where it was I was phoning the emergency lines to ask about my nephew who lived in the next street but was staying that day with his mate in that street . I found out that him and his mate were safe in the house as they had decided to get a later tube than usual , but that they had just said bye to the mates mother . who was then walking to her car to go to work , and was the pedestrian who was just walking past the bus as it exploded and killed her .
It issaid that everyone is born with a number, and when
that number in years comes up then it is your time to go.
Hence the saying 'when your number's up'

Totally believe that everything happens for a reason!

My baby is 3 weeks old and we were going to get her registered, but on the way we had a 'very small' bump in the car! Only a small scratch on the bumper! But we didn't bother going to get my baby registered as I was a bit shaken up and we werent far from home, so my dad picked me up while my hubby drove our car home!....... well the point Im making is that when we got home the car caught on fire!!!

An engineer investigated the cause and he said we were lucky as the fire was an electrical fault and it could have happened at any time, the bump we had was a blessing as we would have been driving around in a ticking time bomb!
