The glow plug coil light on my Ford galaxy keeps flashing, does this mean they require changing?

It may mean you have a brake light out! Ridiculous as it may seem.
as the galaxy is really a volkswagen sharan therefore volkswagen built this is something that volkswagen incorporated into some of their cars the other most notable model the skoda octavia.

thanks, it turns out there was a dodgy fuse making the brake light inoperable, all ok now.
