I have a nissan micra, its a 1995 reg and doesnt have central locking. I seen some kits on ebay that are remote central locking kits claiming to be easy to fit and really safe. Does anybody know if they really are easy to fit and if not how much a mechanic would charge?

Robo,

Send an e-mail to the sellers and ask them what is entailed to fit them, if you dont get a reply I would forget it.
Robo,
look here as I wanted to know as well. It sounds a bit of drag, but a garage would charge about 200.

I got a Halfords kit many years ago, they should be better now.

took about an hour to fit and worked perfectly for 5 years.

The hardest part is finding which wires to connect it to.
