Other members of the family have now met the girl and some of her kids """Long-lost members of an Austrian family terrorised by decades of incest and imprisonment had an "astonishing" reunion at the clinic where psychiatrists are helping them cope, authorities said."""

They'll need counseling and therapy for the rest of their lives
They'll kick-ass at the pubs 80s quiz night though....
Even though this is a tragic story it is in the public eye and therefore this family will get all the help they could possibly need and want. If it were not so public they would most likely have to deal with it down there local doctors so thank heavens for small mercies thats all i can say.
"""A lawyer for the Austrian man who kept his daughter in a cellar for 24 years has said experts must decide if he can be deemed responsible for his actions."""

Wait to you see this, he'll get put in some cushy mental hospital with 3 meals a day and a life of riley when he should be put back in that cellar with nothing until he rots and dies.
He was totally in his right mind when he did this.
He set up sound proof cells. He told his wife their daughter had run off. It would take an awlful lot of pre-meditation to pull this off for 24 years. He planned the whole thing. That is not the mind of a lunatic. It is the mind of a cold, calculated, clear thinking sadist. Child abusers often are.
Put him in one of the cells he created and leave him there.
Thing is, has he broken any laws? I often ground my eldest daughter.
