Dont know what to do??

Hi everyone, i have known this girl who lives in my flats for a few months now and she has a little girl who is 2 and her boyfriend lives with her aswell. Her boyfriend is a druggy and can get violent with her and today i see her and she had a huge fat lip and said that he had been beating her up because she threw his newspaper away. her litle girl was there and witnessed this and im very worried for them both. I told her to pack her stuff and come to mine and stay but she said she couldnt leave him. She wont tell the police because she doesnt want social services getting involved. What can i do as i am very worried about her little girl and her???????

Thats very true and i dont think she wants to herself! my fear is more on the child, as she cannot talk or protect herself!

You have to be careful here as if he knows you are helping her he could get even more violent with her and with you as well. I had lived with domestic violence for nearly 20 years so I know how these men work.
You could get here some information from womens aid the number is in the phone book. BUT the key thing here is what does she want to do about it?
Also there are child protection issues with regards to the child. I would call the police if I heard him at it.
Women in this situation need support and advise from people they can trust.
