Does the buildings insurance cover leaking roof(s). My elderly aunt rents out a property and her tenants have notified her of the roof leaking in 3 -4 bedrooms including the loft extension. Before it only used to leak in one bedroom occasionally (only when it rained very heavily), but the problem seems to have got worse now.

Doesn't it say what's covered in her policy? Or she or you could ring the insurance company to find out?
Unlikely to be covered because it is maintenance. Maintenance appears to be needed to the roof.
