yes I have come to find that quality of teaching has gone downhill and we've practically hit bottom, then wonder why people are incabable of the simplests things and lack motivation to make anything of their lives
Personally I think most youngsters are better informed about the world than ever - although they may choose not to buy into the values of an older generation, for a whole rack of reasons. I also think that teachers do a completely thankless job, being the buffeted by Ofsted, parents, the press and anyone else who fancies a moan but who has never has to deal with 35 year 10 pupils at 2.30 on a Friday in a leaking classroom with cr@p resources a a psychotic headteacher.
