Intermittent starting

Have corsa (S reg) - sometimes will not start.
Garage could not find fault, said to take it
to dealer and have it checked on diagnostic
machine. Did this and fault not found by
diagnostics.
What can cause this prob. Any help pse.

sounds like your car as an intermitant fault most likely to be a dodgy earth conection probably engine to bodywork or actually on the starter motor itself.
If it has a Top Dead Sensor fitted it will be that.

Either clean the contact or fit a new one
Could be dodgy wire on ignition barrel or starter motor.
I had a cavalier like that and it turned out to be the cap on the back of the ignition barrel.
