Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Can anybody Please help me with 16A and 17 D.
I have 16A Poetic and cannot link 17d which would seem to be Pipit?

Utter disgrace in my opinion. The majority will not send the crossword in and it should be made void because of this. Giving answerbank members priority over others is just not on.

Please note, Catron, intelligent people will have spotted this already, and will submit an entry with both E and P in the square where 16 across and 17 down intersect.

I think that The Daily telegraph have probably done the right thing, and do not intend to favour answerbank members.

Without this I would have submitted my crossword leaving 17D with two blank spaces, and writing Pipit and Expat on this

Sorry keyboardix, do not agree. Most people will not enter this competition at all as they will consider it to have been made null and void by the error - which is exactly what the Telegraph have done with in-house competitions for many years past. Intelligence has absolutely nothing to do with it.

Will the Telegraph now double the prizes next week for those who have NOT submitted this crossword due to the error? I doubt it.
