I need plumbing advice please!

Our cold tap in the kitchen wont work. When we turn it on nothing comes out. No funny noises or anything else. Just nothing coming through it at all. We first noticed something was wrong yesterday when there seemed to be less water coming through than usual. The hot tap works fine, no problems at all.

All other taps in the house are working fine. Does anyone have any tips on diagnosing the problem? Could the problem be with the actual tap? Or the pipe?

Any advice or suggestions grately appreciated!

Thanks

Hi, The tap washer may have worked loose and is now jammed into the seating of the tap, stoping the flow of water. Just turn off the water at the mains stop tap and take off the tap head,. Then using a thin blade screwdriver poke about and fish out the old washer and replace it with a new one, re-assemble the tap and job done.
