when painting a room i always manage to get paint on the walls whilst painting the skirting boards etc. does any1 have any tips that they use to prevent this? also im doing my daughters room in 2 colours but need to devide it neatly in the corner where the colours meet. do any1 have any tips on this to?

You can buy masking tape from places like Homebase and put it on the wall before you start painting. It will then stop the paint going on the wrong bits.
Try masking tape and then pull it off as asoon as you are finished painting
Yep... make sure it is 'lo tack' masking tape...

But don't use just any old masking tape. There's a low-tack masking tape used for applying stencils to walls. It won't tear the wallpaper or damage the surface when you remove it.
