smoke alarm keeps beeping

ok, now im getting annoyed!! not with legend but with the house smoke alarm detector, yes it keeps beeping! it only started when i got back home from work,

yes i know its time to change the battery!! but i cant bloody open the cover to switch it off!! its one of those new ones! with that green light that flashes!! grrr help!!

thnks misty :) ((cuddles)) ive managed to put it bk on! but didnt change the battery, it says had to disconnect the main wires first :S

Sorry I'm no help with anything technical or electric. I stay well away from all that stuff! By disconnect does it mean just pull them really hard?? No? OK then sorry cant help ya :o) - xxx

meg, bless ya but we have a problem here though!! we'l b sleeping thru it all night! i dont think anyone knows how to change it.............. its not the normal type, where u buy from BnQ or argos, they r the ones thats wired to the house!!! (this house is four yrs old) sighs!
