so sorry to hear about your lose.xx my two cats are both fast asleep way too cold outside for them plus its just snowed again. margo our big ginger girl is snoring like anything ive never known a cat snore so loud.
Hope you're feeling a little better now. Losing a pet is heartbreaking for any animal lover. Tigger and Blue are fine. Blue has just come inside from going to the toilet and has left mud prints all over my carpet!!! Guess who has to clean it up?! Lol xxx
Boots and Whirlydude are fine, full of roast lamb and sleeping fast!
Hope you are feeling better now, this happened to me so I know how hard it is.
Caspar is sleeping for a change..........but when i am ready to turn in-whether in 3min or 3 hours......the 'midnight madness' will commence!.......it will start again at 6 am-no rest for the wicked!!!
I have to admit to being so close to strangling one of my moronic felines this morning. Frankie was in his full "I'm starving" furry alarm clock mode and I was in a "f**k off and leave me in peace mode". But he won and I crawled out from under the duvet, having to shift Merlin (Frankie's sister) from on top of the duvet.

I just snarled at them and wandering off down stairs, the morons running around my legs in an attempt to kill me.

I feel better now that I have said all that.

Hope you are feeling better ruthann. Losing a furry friend from old age or illness (or strangulation) is hard, but losing it on the road when it is out playing makes the loss harder to deal with.

I wish you all the best for the future. Welcome to the lunatic fringe of the furry friends community.

Awww, I hope you are bearing up a bit now ruthann. It's such an awful feeling when you lose a pet, it doesn't matter how old they are or how it happened, and the road is something we all worry about but can do nothing about xx

Diego (my tabby) came home about an hour ago, has eaten his breakfast and gone upstairs for a nap, he's a grumpy so-and-so and not very sociable - think Victor Meldrew in cat form. Raffy is in the garden, probably being grubby, she always comes back filthy leaving muddy paw prints everywhere and is the one who insists on bringing presents each time (this week we have had two headless pigeons, two dead mice, a penguin wrapper and one of those nets that you put washing powder tablets in). Jez is sat at the patio doors watching the back garden, probably picking which bird she is going to have as soon as she is big enough.

Hope your other cats are doing ok ruthann xx
Hi there, Im a new user on this site (very good site indeed) I have a favourite web site all about cats that I use, if you want to chat about your RIP furbabe and maybe post some pictures then this is the place to be....:)

http://www.purrsinourhearts.co.uk/
morning (just) to fellow furbaby fans, mentioned margo yesterday but never mentioned cupar our black and white boy and hes been complaining that he didnt get his moment of fame so here goes when he joins me in bed he will paddle and purr for a full 10mins sometimes longer which i dont mind too much unless its 3oclock in the morning.
ruthann, I hope you are feeling a little better, and remembering your cat with more gladness than sadness now. Time really IS a healer, but I am sure you know that.

It must be nice for you to hear other cat owners' stories, and reminisce on all the things your cat did that made you smile (or grimace!)

x
Sorry to hear about your cat, Ruthann. :O(
My wee Jess is growing fast, she's now 7 months, and drives me crazy! lol She still insists on waking me up at all hours by licking my face or sitting on my mouth and nose....I'm going to wake up dead some day! (love that expression!) lol She still does mad kitten stuff, like taking running jumps up the curtains, or running from one room to the other at full speed for no reason.....But she makes me laugh so much it's all worth it hey! xxx
Hi ruthann, nice to see you back.
I have my old cat on my lap at the moment - she will not leave me alone to the extent that at 2.30am today she was yelling in my ear to wake me up. No reason other than she wanted attention. The younger cat is asleep on my bed, lazy little madam!
I have been out and about doing my second job over the last few days - looking after peoples' cats while they are away - and it's lovely to have so many to make a fuss of.
Hi ruthann - I really can't remember if I posted on your original thread, but am so sorry to hear about your cat. Also glad your pc's up & running again.

Our Milly, nearly 10 months old, has just come in from the garden. Her fur felt realy cold, but we've just had a little cuddle & she's fast asleep on 'her' cushion on the bed!
