We are going to Cyprus in a few weeks and I would like to know whether prices have changed much since the changeover to the euro, mainly on eating out and fuel.
We will be staying in Paphos. Thanks for any help

just got back from paohos last week, most places are showing both euro and cyp pound prices on menus etc,but it did seem to me that the euro does not go as far and you are spending more all the time,a lot of places have just converted to exact price bit there were a few places who have rounded it up to be more expensive, they dont like it very much, but its there too stay,so its a case of getting used to it.garage prices for fuel more or less the same.

Thanks Norman, thought that may happen. We don't tend to frequent the restaurants in the harbour vicinity, we prefer something quieter so may not be as noticeable, probably be the hotel where the big difference is. Good to here fuel hasn't changed that much. It was only 17p a litre the 1st time we went!
just to let you know, the harbour road is closed, for about a half mile, where all the shops are, right on the front, they are predestrianising it,opens in may.
