channel 4 on demand

Hi,

I have downloaded a movie from channel 4's on demand website, and I want to convert the movie from wmv format to avi so that I can watch it on my tv through my external hard drive. The problem is the movie is protected and whatever I try does not work. I have tried Nero, and WinAvi, but none of them will work.

Does anyone know of a program that will remove the protection and let me convert the movie to avi?

It'll be easier just to download from a torrent website.

You can't legally do what you want to do anyway, so it's no less illegal than downloading from channel 4.
