When I first read ''The man who was magic'' by Paul Gallico many years ago,I can remember in the introduction on the flyleaf it stated that it was in the process of being made into a film by M.G.M. Does anyone know if this happened as I have never seen the film advertised.

Thanks very much for your answers, what a pity they are in the negative,if ever a book deservered to be made into a film The Man Who Was Magic is in my opinion well worth it.I wonder if Steven Spielberg would be interested.Unfortunately I dont know how to contact him.
