I'm using the writemaster Freecom classic DVD+/-RW USB 2 external all singing and dancing all format DVD /CD reader - writer, well that's what I was sold. The literature supplied backs up the claim, ALL discs, ALL formats. On the rear of the machine is printed:DL:5xDVD+R/4xDVD-R DVD+R(W):16x8x16x DVD-R(W):16x6x16 CD-R(W):48x32x48x This means no problem with media? Why has it (up till now) been a lottery as to what blank DVD's I buy will work when all are supposed to? I've stacks of DVD-R all different brands I cant use and at no time was it made clear that you have to have this little sign on them http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff142/v9tz/ PICT0423.jpg that never appears on the packaging? Yes , I do feel like I've been ripped off, anyone recommend an external drive that will take DVD-R, no f*ckingW?
