motorola L6 memory

hi there i have just bought a motorola L6 on Ebay to replace the one i spilt water on. The problem is my message inbox only holds 10 messages before it says its full, my first L6 held at least 50. Are these fones all different? i would have thought that the memory was the same. it has no slot for a memory card, but then my other one didnt either. Any idesa why this is so?? thanks

you need to find your memory options and select use phone as apposed to use sim

on a motorola I dont know as I've always had nokias but im sure someone on here will know but from what i have just seen on motorola website its something like

To store incoming text messages
on your SIM card, press:
- > Messages > -> Inbox Setup
> Text Msg Setup > Store To > SIM

so there should be a store to>PHONE option

thanks for pointing me in the right direction matt i have dug out my instructions and i have now set to store to phone.
