Mobile phone question

Hiya Guys

I have the Sony Ericsson Walkman Shake phone. It keeps switching off and the little red light on the back keeps coming on. Its only three months old. There is no water damage as i haven't had it near water, plus i have checked and it hasn't been dropped.

Does anyone know what this means and what the re4d light means

take it back to the shop. maybe a software error. I've had this on a 02 ******* and all the memory got wiped.

Thanks for the quick reply, but the only problem is, i got it off ebay. The seller won't help me, plus it has been three months since i bought it. :-(

I had a similar problem with a sony ericsson a while back,it was as the result of a poor battery connection,I solved it by wedging a piece of paper on top of the battery to force it down onto the contacts then replaced the battery cover.It still works fine now (my fiance uses it).
