internet on satellite receiver

Not being a techno type person, please accept my apologies if this is a stupid question...Is it possible to receive an internet reception on a satellite dish??
We don't have sky but use free sat as this is a mobile set up used for our hols. Regards.

You can get broadband via satellite if that's what you mean. I don't know about the costs or suchlike, but it isn't as quick as wired broadband and the signal depends entirely on your reception so things like the weather can play a part.

Just do a Google search for it and see what comes up
