How did things go today?
Been wondering all day!

How sweet of you to remember x. Not good news, it's now spread to my lungs! I saw a very nice oncologist who said he wont give up on me, I've been given an extra strong hormonal drug for the breast cancer which has been getting worse by the day,but because I've got MRSA I can't start any treatment for the lung cancer until it's cleared up so in another 3 weeks I've got to have another scan to see how bad it is. I'm feeling pretty positive anyway. I've just been for a nice walk at the top of a hill looking out over Guildford meeting all my doggie friends and getting some real country air, I feel so much better now, isn't it funny how the simple things in life make you feel so good. Once again Cruella thanks for thinking about me, you have enough troubles of your own, I only hope you get good results on Wednesday, Gelda xx PS I wish I could give your little Misty a cuddle, I absolutely adore Westies!

Hi gelda
I am glad that you are being so positive.
Sorry about the diagnosis today but it is amazing what they can do for patients now.
MRSA is a horrible thing and I can understand why they are delaying the treatment.
Like you said, it helps to go out for a walk and meet up with other doggie friends.
You may know that my Hubby has Cancer and can only now be treated by having an op to remove tumours every three months. We have lived with this for 4 years and stay very positive.
I had a biopsy done last week and get the results on Wednesday. Oh Joy!
Still, if there is anything, best that they find it and treat it as best they can.
Just to make things worse, our wee westie is sick today and it's her 2nd birthday.
Still tomorrow is another day for all of us and lets be grateful for that.
Keep me posted gelda. Lots of us all going through the same thing. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Thanks all of you, funny enough it does help to know somebody cares. My problem is I live on my own and don't have anyone to talk to when I feel a bit down so knowing you're all thinking about me does help. Cruella love I really really hope all goes well tomorrow I'll be thinking of you. How's your little Westie this morning?. Gelda xxx

There is nothing worse than having to face an illness alone.
Gelda, just take a day at a time and you will eventually get there.
As you say, it is often a relief to talk with someone about your illness.
Feel free to come on and talk anytime.
Life is is partly about sharing. xx

I do remember you Lindapinda, in fact I've still got an email you sent me about the foxes, A friend of mine feeds them now and she takes me up to see them a couple of times a week, they're all doing well, thanks for your thoughts. Gelda xx
