poor tigger has gone to the big garden in the sky. she had an inoperable growth on her larynx which was discovered cos we had to bring her xray forward cos she was really struggling to breathe. the vet said she was hardly moving any air at all. we really thought we were getting her back tonight, but the kindest thing was not to wake her from the anaesthetic they gave her for the xray. poor tigger.

I am sorry to hear about Tigger. It doesn't sound as if you had much choice - poor wee thing.

It is awful when a furry member of the family dies, they may be small - but the hole left in our heart is large.

Best wishes.
So sad, but you know you did your best for her. Better a day too soon than a minute too late.
ah, so sorry to hear about tigger, thinking of you.
Ah mandi, I am so sorry to hear about your Tigger. Run free little lady (well, stalk, 'cos cats are too graceful to run!)

You did the best thing for her and now she is free from any pain or discomfort.

I am so sorry mandimoo....many of us know only too well the sadness you are feeling right now. Unfortunately it is made worse by the fact that you thought little tigger had more time with you.Think of her as she crosses Rainbow Bridge, now free of pain xx
I've just read this and I am so sorry to hear about poor Tigger. You know that you did what was best for her but everyone who has been in this position will know that it doesn't make it any easier. My thoughts are with you.

I know what you're going through - the vet came round here 2 weeks ago to send my dear old William off for his final good sleep. He was in his 18th year. I stillI hear him in the other rooms, and sometimes think I see him from the corner of my eye. The house is full of the absence of him. It will get better, no doubt, Time the Great Healer as they say, but knowing that doesn't help at the moment. I grieve with you and for you.
