This is going to be more of a rant than anything else Im afraid. Has anyone ever hired a TENS machine from Tesco?
We decided to hire one from there rather than hiring one offline as we can go pick it up and take it back easily. My boyfriend went down and booked, or so he thought, a little over a week ago. The girl who served him took my name and due date and my number saying they would call me to confirm it all as she was too busy to do it all then. A few days later, I hadnt heard anything so he went back down. The person who served was very rude and, even though they didnt have any customers there, refused to do anything because they were on thier own. Still, they reassured him that we would get our machine and to pick it up 3 weeks before my due date (today!) He went down to get it and they have refused to let him have. They say they need a Tesco clubcard number and that it wasnt booked properly as all my details should have been taken. So, with only 3 weeks to go and being in a lot of discomfort already, I now have to try and find one from elsewhere! It will have to be online because I cant get very far and my boyfriend is at work all week. Can anyone recommend a RELIABLE site where I can hire one at such short notice?

why dont you just buy one in lloyds - they are 15 quid arent they?
Sorry to hear about your troubles. Rather than trying online sites when you'll have to wait for it and have the hassle of sending it back, why not have a ring round your local chemists? I know some round my way offer the service.

Sorry I meant a service to hire rather than buy.

bednobs, the ones in Lloyds arent amternity ones, not that I have a Lloyds chemist anywhere near me.

meglet, I was going to get one from Boots but again didnt get a good reception when enquiring about it! They are the only two places where I live that hire them out.

Thanks for that link gina, I will have a good look over it.
lloyds chemist hire them out (the maternity ones) and send it to you. You can get next day delivery (of the tens machine, not the baby)
ive looked on the site and they seem quite good. let us know what happens good luck

Thanks again gina and bednobs. Ive had a look at both sites and think the Lloyds one does look the better option. I knew they sold normal ones cheap but didnt know they hired out maternity ones so the links are much appreciated.
Oh 'next day delivery baby', how I wish that were true!
