i have tried 3 different routers to get signal in my daughters bedroom. the routers all work in my friends houses so they are not at fault. my router is about 12 feet from my computer in the living room and works fine. my duaghters bedroom is about 20 feet the other way- the signal is very weak ( only one bar) and will not connect at all. i have tried a booster aerial and all the different channels to no avail. my friends say my house must be surrounded by kryptonite!! can any offer any suggestions?. thanks

You could try a wireless access point (a repeater) somwhere in between the router and you daughter's bedroom.
a nice length of cat 5 wire will solve the problem!

if the kryptonite can't be breached (but assuming you have electricity in there

try a homeplug adapter (s)
