Does anyone use these mini dehumidifers? I'm looking at one that has a 0.25l capacity, not to dry out our whole flat but really to put infront of windows every other day or so ... are they as efficient as big ones or does it just depend on the make??

Many thanks!

I do not know the mini one's you refer to but I have a large one I have been using it for years and therefore I am quite knowledgeable in the condensation/damp/dehum subject.

I think you have to make sure they are safe as collecting/water and electricty do not mix well, also has it go a auto switch off because you cannot sit around all day waiting for the container to to fill you have to be able to leave it running without the worry it will over flow if you are out the house.

Other than that I would try it but if your are planning on buying more than one, just try one to start with to see how it works.

If you want to concentrate the drying/dehum in one area or room it is much better if you can shut the door.
