I met this guy and we really started to have strong feelings toward each other. we have been talking constantly and hanging out. We just started to become affectionate a while ago. Yesterday we kissed for the first time, I was so excited and nervous when we were just about too. Then we did and...I didn't feel anything! No chemistry at all! What in the world!! We told each other that we didn't feel it and don't know why, but decided we would still stay together and work on that. This has never happened to either of us.

There could be various reasons why it wasnt how I expected.

First of all we went to a place my ex and I use to go, the water front, and it was in a car, so awkward positioning?
So a few questions....
*Is this normal for the first few kisses maybe?
*What happens if it keeps happening?
*Was it because my ex and I went there?

I can't answer your question, just wanted to empathise with you cause this happened to me earlier in the week!

With all the other people, I've kissed them and been like "Wooow" and got all tingley and stuff. but with this boy, who I really, really like, I didn't get like that.

So frustrating!
dont worry , it seems a bit shallow if everything else is there , and remeber when it moves to sex

Maybe you're better off as friends?

Sometimes lack of chemistry is indicative of that. Other times it can just show you're quite at ease with a person.
Hi- I'm going to post because i have the same kind of thing happen to me when i have sex- i feel like of detached- not bored exactly but not 'in the moment' all the time, I don't know if this is natural or not- i guess the build up makes me think i will be that excited all the way through? anyone else experienced this? sorry to hijack thread!
