was just in a local corner shop and the women asked the girl infront of me for i.d to buy red bull she reckons that the law has changed......any ideas on this one?? was in a different shop the other day and they sold it to a young kid...have you got to be 18?

I think it is 16 cos it contains so much caffine
Well I work in a grocery shop and no-one has told me if the law has changed. There used to be a warning on the side of the can saying not suitable for children, but even that has been removed.

Saying that, a couple of the girls in the shop I work at refuse to sell it to people under 18 as they swear blind that it's illegal. Make sure you come to me kids, I'll serve you...

No, but any store can impose any restrictions they like - they are not obliged to sell anything to anybody:

I work at Coop and we can't sell it to under 12's.
