Can anyone tell me the best way to remove Norton anti virus Internet security from my computer? I've put the Norton CD in but it doesn't say anything about removing their software it just says Install Browse Exit I've come to the end of my subscription with Norton's and was going to try AGV free anti virus software but I'm a bit worried about removing Norton's from my computer as I've heard bad reports from people that have done this in the past I can go to control panel and add and remove software but just need to know if this is the right way to go as there is three Norton's programs in here Norton internet security live updates 3.2 live update notice

The only way to remove it completely and properly is with their own removal tool which is free here:

After that - download and run Ccleaner (available free)
And when you've done that, don't install AVG....instead search for "Avast!" on Google or treat yourself to "NOD32" - both of which are FAR better than either AVG or Norton.
