I've been on the Inland Revenue website and filled in the 'Do I qualify' questionnaire for family tax credit but at the end when it comes up with a figure it doesn't say if this is your monthly or annual entitlement. Can anyone tell me please? I'm pregnant at the moment so we're trying to work out our financial situation so I filled it in as if the baby had already been born as a rough guide. Many thanks.

For a family earning around 30k, I think you get around 100 per month for the first year, then it falls to about 50 per month.

That's what we got anyway (daughter is now 2) so it should give you a rough idea.
