The other day I bought a box of eggs from the local shop and on using them discovered that all 6 had double yolks. Has any ever found more than 1 double yolk in a box before?

i bought a tray of 1 x dozen double yoke eggs and guess what??

yeah they were all double yokers yippeeee.

..while working as a breakfast chef , I once had a whole tray of 36 with double yolks....the customer were all over the moon....
I've bought eggs that were sold as double yolkers from a farm shop on quite a few occasions.
I get my eggs from a local producer and I am disappointed when I only get one yolk. They have a photograph of a 3 yolk egg from one of their chickens.
I bought a dozen eggs from the local supermarket and for the first time ever they were all double yolks.
Too long ago to remember, when I was still at school, I took 2 periods cookery per week to fill up my timetable and the HE teacher was gorgeous!! We had to bring in eggs to make a cake and all 6 in my box had double yolks! My sponge came out really rich. This brings back memories...
