Has anyone else tried to sit in a normal position in the balcony seats? were you under 5'5 ?

Many thanks 'In a Pickle' I had a pressure sore from trying to fit my 5'7 frame into a balcony seat that had opera glasses at knee position. Eventually I moved to a vacant aisle seat and sat skewiff with my legs on the stairs. It did not enhance the evening!
