why do old people lie about their age? As if ppl wont find out how old they are eventually? Whether its through their gruff voice, or bad haircut or old moustache or their routine style of wearing suspenders and socks n sandals throughout the year? Why dont you just tell ppl how old you really are, as most ppl tend to like old OAPS, theyre harmless and kind and like to bake things and knit among other things.... so whats the problem>? So re: my Q below, How old are you now? Don't be scared, chin up and type it in. Just the number would be good, dearie, cheers xxx
You can answer this tomorrow, I dont want any old ppl staying up late on my account. Go to bed and log on 8am prompt tomorrow.... we can discuss and debate this further then so g'nite.
i like old people , a lot of them fought the war for us so they have my respect , and ur last bit im 24 , i worry when i get 30 im going to feel over the hill , but i spose when i get there if i do i should be grateful
sorry, would have posted a realy interesting answer, but mother in law lives next door and i think she might have just broke a hip trying to shimmy up the back wallto listen to me and her son falling out about where were spending X mas!!!
I'm 68 i don't lie about it and never have, and as for staying up late, i have to ,to finish my six pack of fosters,
Chin up ? Iv'e got more go than most young uns,
What a stupid post ,
what a Pr1ck.
I have no need to lie about my age. Most people I meet think I am at least 10 years younger than I actually am anyway ~ in fact sometimes even younger as someone knocked on the door the other day and asked if my mum was in.
I put it down to being a bit fat. Natural collagen, you see :o)
The majority of OAPs I have met take delight in telling me their age.
