Have recently moved into a flat, never had storage heaters before. I find them ok but one, or maybe all three of them, seem to be sending off a smell, not unpleasant, but find my clothes have the same smell, maybe cos I'm drying them nearby one of them, and it's all I can smell all day and night, and am getting a bit fed up of it. Can anyone help, or give advice. Thanks in advance.

I live in a flat, and I too have storage heaters. ours do give off a dusty, musty type smell on occasions and we remedy this by removing the cover (make sure its turned off!) and give it a thorough dust and hoover. one of those attachments that has a small brush is great, or recently I used an old blusher brush - worked just as well!
oh forgot to say, it is the dust and cobwebs heating up that makes that funny smell!
