I know a high temperature is and indication of infection and illness, but what does a low temperature mean? For example, if someones normal body temperature is usually around 36.5 C, what would cause it to be 35.8 C?

For some people it's usual to be below the 'normal' temperature...I'm always one degree under! :o)

Hi Robinia, I always have a temperature between 36.5 c and 36.8 c which I believe is a little lower than most. Ive since found out that it is also common for your bodys temperature to be lower first thing in the morning than it is later in the day. Mine has proved that theory right and gone up to its usual reading. Learn something new everyday eh?

Thanks for answering :)
you're welcome Psychick...I'm sure I read somewhere that 'cool' people live longer! :o)
