Have just read in a mac mag that when office 2008 comes out in january, it will cost around 100 pound and allow you to put it on 3 computers.
does this mean that 3 people can get together and buy it between them, and then put it on each of their computer's. ie can i buy it with three like-minded mac users and share the 100 pound cost?
cheers

This may be the same "offer" that is available on Windows.

On that platform there is Office 2007 Home and Student Edition for around 100. This is allowed on three computers in the same home (although I am not sure how they check)

But it is only Word, Excel, Powerpoint and OneNote so it is not all of Office (no Access for example).

I've not seen the license ... but normally more than one machine means "within that household or family"
