Yes. you could in theory write a cheque on practically anything as long as it was signed, dated etc.

I used to get lot of those big cheques when i worked for a charity - they are just used for photo shoots and you get a normal little one along with them - they don't have genuine account details on and are used time and again with just the name bit changed so no i don't hink you could bank it
